In recent years there has been a big shift towards “going green” and “eco-friendly” products and events. That’s because the general public is now aware of the importance of leaving the smallest impact possible on the planet. Less waste promotes a better and longer life for future generations. What better way to celebrate the future of a new baby than with an eco friendly baby shower.

the theme can really make it fun, but when it comes down to it its not the theme that makes the shower successful or not. Just relax and let everyone interact and have a good time.

A baby shower in itself can be a theme… you can just use lots of pastel colors and cute baby decorations!

Some baby travel gear always makes a great shower gift. There is a lot of cool stuff out there to make life easier for parents traveling with babies. Unfortunately there is some real junk too. The recent recalls of Fisher Price toys sure gave me cause for concern. I love the idea of the book baby shower. I think that children are given too many toys and not even books these days. When I was younger, there were many books I loved that I wish I still had to pass down to my own children. It also encourages reading and learning.
