You can purchase lollipops in all types of shapes to include baby feet, baby bottles, stars, and so on, or purchase sucker molds. Made as hard candy or chocolate suckers, these are adorable when four or five lollipops are individually wrapped in cellophane and then tied off with curly ribbon.

BUN IN THE OVEN

Candles shaped like cinnamon buns with a realistic baked good fragrance are perfect favors. You can wrap them with cellophane and attach a small card that says, “Bun in the Oven”.

WRAPPED GIFTS

Miniature gift boxes wrapped in pastel paper and tied off with ribbon make wonderful and inexpensive favors. Line the boxes with tissue paper and fill them with chocolate kisses.

CANDY TINS

Pastel coated almonds are delicious and when placed in small metal tins make wonderful favors. These can be purchased or assembled at home. Another excellent option is to purchase tins through online companies filled with miniature, pastel colored candy pacifiers, teddy bears, ducks, or umbrellas are sold.

CANDY WRAPPER

Take an empty toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll cut in half. Seal one end with paper and tape and then from the open end, fill the roll with garden seeds, potpourri, candy, or bath beads. Seal the open end and then wrap the entire roll in colored foil, baby wrapping paper, or baby motif fabric. With coordinating ribbon, tie both end so the favor looks likes a giant piece of candy.

SOAPS

You can purchase soap molds at hobby stores in just about any shape you like along with glycerin and fragrance oils. The glycerin is scented with the fragrance and then poured into the mold to set. When done, wrap them in pastel colored cellophane and use a glue stick to seal it.

TEA BAGS

These favors are very easy to make and look wonderful. Choose about four different flavored tea bags per favor and wrap them neatly in pastel colored tissue paper. With a piece of coordinating ribbon, tie around the middle and add a card with the expectant parent’s name and date of the baby shower.

SEASHELLS

If you live near the ocean, you can gather seashells from the beach and if not, purchase them from a hobby store or online. Spray paint the shells pastel pink, blue, green, or yellow. Using clear plastic or cellophane, wrap hard or chocolate candies, tied off with colorful ribbon. Simply set the small bag of candy in the shell and set at each place setting.

BABY FOOD JAR PICTURES

Using empty baby jars with the labels removed, scan a photograph of the expectant couple and replace this as the label. Fill the jar with scented candle wax, candy, or potpourri. Cut on a four-inch square of baby motif wrapping paper or fabric. Glue this onto the lid, which is then screwed back onto the jar. To complete the favor, tie a ribbon around the rim of the jar.

GARDEN SEEDS

Take three different packets of seeds to include Baby Blue Eyes, Baby’s Breath, and Daisies. With a hole-punch, create a small hold in the upper left-hand corner of each packet. Then using ribbon to coordinate with the color or theme of the baby shower, slip it through all three packets and tie them together.
